Collection: “Alluring Sins”

My collection was inspired by Dante’s Inferno and the design style is bold, simple, and pretty, but non-traditional. The garments are sheath dresses constructed beneath voluminous skirts of taffeta and organza. Detailing includes hand-pleated yokes, ruffles, raw edges and endless tiers of squares on two of the skirts.

Ensembles:

• Lust – Sheath with pleated yoke and double layered wrap skirt with ruffles on the front and hem.
• Pride – High-collared sheath with pleated yoke and wrap skirt with organza ruffles.
• Envy – Boat neck sheath with wrap skirt, covered in individually placed diagonal squares.
• Wrath – High-collared sheath with pleated yoke and wrap skirt, covered in individually placed diagonal squares.
• Gluttony – Boat neck sheath with yoke and open tiered bubble skirt with d-ring belt.
• Sloth – Sheath with pleated yoke and open, tiered, bubble skirt with d-ring belt.
